In recent years, Lebab has made a number of studies dedicated to
immigration in Spain. The following files show a summarized version of a
great part of these contents. These illustrate, through numerous graphs,
numbers and statistics, the different repercussions and needs in
different levels (economic, social, idiomatic, etc…) which have been
generated by the increase of emigration to Spain.

LEBAB wanted to assess the following factors before releasing the software:
- The usefulness of the software solution
Lebab. Interpreter to integration in working Primary Healthcare environments.
- The degree of professional and patient satisfaction with this advanced communication tool.
Methodology

Duration of pilot test: 5 months (February-June 2004)
Participating centres: 3 Primary Healthcare centres with a high proportion of patients from immigrant communities
Variables analyzed:

- Duration of consultation
- Reason for consultation
- Patient age
- Country of origin
- Patient satisfaction (yes/no)
- Doctor satisfaction
(dissatisfied/quite satisfied/satisfied/very satisfied)
Results
• Average patient age: 26-29 years
• 34 reasons for the consultations
• Average duration of consultations: 17.16 minutes (50% of the consultations lasted between 12 and 22 minutes)
• Language used in the clinical interview
